Text Box:   Text Box: Allegheny Imaging of            McCandless, LLC, has been awarded accreditation in MRI, CT, Breast Ultrasound, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and Cardiac Nuclear Medicine through 2010 as a result of a recent survey by the American College of Radiology.   The American College of Radiology, or ACR, awards accreditation to facilities that achieve high practice standards based on a peer review evaluation.  The evaluation is conducted by board-certified physicians and physicists who are experts in  their field.  The surveyors assess the qualifications of the personnel and the adequacy of the facility, and then report their findings to the ACR’s Committee on Accreditation, which provides the individual practice with a comprehensive report.
